Installed on the underside of removable dentures, a soft base is a resin that rests against your gums, aiming to minimize pain and increase the patient’s comfort. It relieves the pressure and friction caused by dentures while minimizing the risks of ulcers and inflammation. A soft base has a lifespan of about two years.
